There are various theories as to how the Tonkinese came to be, but the most popular one is that they are a mix of a Siamese and a Burmese. The charming point of the Tonkinese is their hair is so moist and shiny that they are sometimes called “Minx.” Another appealing point is that is that are you same points a Siamese has color, the Tonkinese has unique colors like champagne and mink.
