Russian Blues have very thick, velvet-like soft grey fur and beautiful green eyes like emeralds. It is agreed that this breed was carefully raised by the Russian Imperial Family, and it is a very noble breed. Because there are a variety of theories about its roots, there are a variety of names for it, such as Foreign Blue, or Maltese Blue. Its personality is so quiet that it is sometimes called the voiceless cat, and it almost never meows. It is incredibly shy, nervous, and intelligent, but once you break the ice they will be as loyal as a dog.
