Claw Sharpening

Claw sharpening is done to sharpen worn claws in preparation for hunting, and marking territory. Sharpening claws is an instinct for cats and cannot be stopped. For wild cats, tree bark is used, while house cats use pillars or walls, so if there is a place that would be bad for the cat to scratch, be sure to put up protective measures first.
