Egyptian Mau
The #1 sprinter of house cats!
The Egyptian Mau is an improved version of the breed of cats Egyptians kept as house cats. They are the only cat with a naturally occurring spot pattern in the wild. Because it looks very similar to the cats painted in ancient Egyptian murals and scrolls, it is believed that it has roots dating into ancient times. The Egyptian Mau has a top sprinting speed of near 50 km/h, making it the #1 house cat sprinter. However, its personality is quiet, shy, and they like to play by themselves. That being said, they like to play with their owners. and once they are used to an environment, they become very energetic. A classic example of a lion at home and a mouse abroad.
