The cat named after a doll.
A “ragdoll” is a handmade doll. Worthy of its name, a Ragdoll likes people, and loves to be held. It was born in America in the 1960s by breeding white Persians, Birmans, and Burmese. The base of their hair is white with patterns. When they are born they are completely white, and as they gradually patterns start to appear. However, their growth is slow, so it takes about 3-4 years to reach adulthood.
