Turkish
The oldest history of the Turkish cat's.
Turkish Angoras have long lived in Turkey, and hold the longest history of longhaired cat breeds. They are called the treasure of Turkey, and are kept in zoos to protect the legacy. Their features are thin, glossy hairs with a silk-like touch, pointed ears, and large beautiful almond shaped eyes. They don't handle stress very well, and like a carefree life. On the one hand, the Turkish Angora's distant cousin, the Turkish Can, was long confused with the Turkish Angora, and finally had its lineage recognized in 1995. Other than its head, ears, and tails, it features white hair, this pattern is called “bumper turn.” Unlike most cats they like to play with and get in water, and are also called “swimming cats”.
