Their floppy ears and round eyes are adorable!
A farm cat in Scotland gave birth to a kitten named Suzy, who had a mutation that caused her ears to fold over, and so the Scottish Fold began. There are both longhair and shorthair variants, and they exist in a wide variety of colors. Their main features are small folded ears and large eyes, but there is only about a 30% chance that their kittens will have these ears, and stress can cause their ears to stand up straight, and then fold over again frequently.
