Sleeping
Even if they sleep for an entire day, they always sleep soundly.
Cats sleep so much, that we have even begun to say “cat naps” when we take a nap. Some cats sleep up to 15 hours a day, and some kittens sleep up to 20 hours. The reason they sleep so much is that before cats were domesticated, they had to constantly hunt, so as to not spend any useless energy, they sleep when they don't need to move. However, cats only sleep soundly for about 3 hours a day, the rest of the time, while they seem to be asleep, they will wake up at even the slightest noise. By the way, sometimes sleeping cats twitch, and look like they are talking in their sleep. In times like this, they are dreaming.
