Cats are generally called kittens for the first 6 months after they are born. In the 2 to 7 weeks after birth, kittens gain the social experience they need with the help of their new siblings. If the owner takes care of, holds, plays with, and touches the kitten a lot during this time, it is easier for them to become used to humans, and they can become good house cats.
