Russian Blues have very thick, velvet-like soft grey fur and beautiful green eyes like emeralds. It is agreed that this breed was carefully raised by the Russian Imperial Family, and it is a very noble breed. Because there are a variety of theories about its roots, there are a variety of names for it, such as Foreign Blue, or Maltese Blue. Its personality is so quiet that it is sometimes called the voiceless cat, and it almost never meows.
