Japanese Bobtail

The feature of the Japanese Bobtail is the short rounded tail. This cat originates in Japan, and has longhair and shorthair versions. In America, the short tail of the Japanese cat was thought to be cute, and the Japanese was slowly improved overseas into the slim-legged cat we know today. They have the kindest and calmest personality out of all cats, and sometimes even seem a little shy. However, once they accept someone as a social partner, they will always sit and listen, and even appear to saying “Oh I see”.
