This is a time of happiness for cats.
You've seen a kitty makes an absentminded face, and uses both hands to massage right? This massaging uses both paws to make a mother cat's milk easier to come out, and is called “milk treading”. When they are doing that massaging, they are remembering the love and warmth of their mother, and are very happy.
