Eating
Cats like the texture and ingredients rather than taste.
For cats, the focus of food is on nutrition and freshness, and is not strictly governed by taste like humans. To begin with, cats are not particularly sensitive to taste, they do not sense sugar and are not fond of sour tastes. However, each cat has different foods that they like. So, it seems that likes and dislikes are based on the texture and ingredients, and the type of food they ate when they were young. That's why some cats like ice cream, and some like very salty foods.
